To verify the fact that you are registered, you can obtain information from the
Secretary of State by clicking
here
|
You may search by one of three methods:
- your Voter Unique Identifier (VUID) which appears on your voter registration certificate;
- your Texas driver's license number, if you provided it when you applied for voter
registration; or
- your first and last name.

You have three (3) different methods of updating your new name:

You must be registered at your new address
thirty (30) days prior
to an election or you will be required to go to your previous voting precinct.

If you have moved within the county, you may change your name or address online.

To vote by mail, you must request a ballot for each election. To be
eligible
to vote by mail in Texas, you must:
- be 65 years or older;
- be disabled;
- be out of the county on election day and during the period for early voting by personal
appearance; or
- be confined in jail, but otherwise eligible.

You are required to complete a Federal Post Card Application. Applications are available
online
or through your commanding officer. Mail completed registration applications to:

Applications are good for two (2) federal elections and ballots will be mailed automatically.
Please complete a new application if you move.
