Smith County Road and Bridge Mission Statement:

The primary mission of the Road & Bridge Department is the care and maintenance
of the public right of ways allotted under our system of law. This includes, but
is not limited to:
- Roadways, bridges, drainage structures, signes, and traffic control devices.
- Responsible use, care, and maintenance of County facilities, equipment, and
supplies used to accomplish our mission
- Maintain respect for the rights of the public, the public trust, and our system
of laws.
- Performance of our duties in a safe and responsible manner.
