has records for births that occurred outside the city limits of Tyler.

Births INSIDE
the City Limits
|
For the birth records that occurred inside the city limits you will need to contact the Northeast Texas Public Health District at (903)535-0030 or (903)535-0031.
Their office is located at 815 N. Broadway Ty.er, Tx 75702, they also have a remote access to search for
births and deaths inside the state of Texas.

Delayed Births

The Smith County Clerk’s office
has records for delayed births that occurred in Smith County.
|
|
Birth records are closed to the public for 75 years. Certified
copies can only be obtained by the person whose name is on the birth certificate,
an immediate family member, or his/her legal representative. You must present your
valid state or government issued ID.

|
The fee is $23 (cash, money order, or cashier’s check) for each certified copy of
the birth certificate.
