Birth records are closed to the public for 75 years. Certified copies can only be obtained by the person whose name is on the birth certificate, an immediate family member, or his/her legal representative. You must present your valid state or government issued ID.

The fee is $23 (cash, money order, or cashier’s check) for each certified copy of the birth certificate.
