Motor Vehicle Registration

Texas residents who own a motor vehicle are required by law to renew their vehicle registration annually. You have three (3) registration options:

Register Online
|
You may register online using a credit card.

. From the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles page, follow the links to register
your vehicle or to renew your registration online.

Register by Mail
|
Registration renewal notices are mailed to all registered vehicle owners. To register
by mail, send the following:
- renewal notice (keep the vehicle owner's section for your records).
- photocopy of your vehicle insurance card, and
-
registration fee
plus $1 mail-in fee
