Elections and Voter Registration

Welcome to the Elections Administration Office for Smith County. The functions of the Smith County Elections Department are to
register voters and maintain accurate voter registration rolls for the 77 SMith County precincts. We also conduct all countywide
and special elections, as well as elections conducted under interlocal contracts.

Please note the following important information:

Voter Registration Deadline:
To be eligible to vote in any election you must be registered 30 days prior to Election
Day. Please check out our
voter registration page
for details on how to do this.

Address Change Online:
If you have moved
within
the county, you may change your name or address online.

Be a Poll Worker:
If you are interested in becoming a poll worker, please take a moment to fill out
this
application
and mail or fax it back into us. We always appreciate the help! Earn a few extra
dollars and do your community a service.
