Motor Vehicle Registration

Texas residents who own a motor vehicle are required by law to renew their vehicle registration annually. You have three (3) registration options:

Register Online

You may register online using a credit card.
Click here to Register and Pay On Line. From the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles page, follow the links to register your vehicle or to renew your registration online.

Register by Mail

Registration renewal notices are mailed to all registered vehicle owners. To register by mail, send the following:

renewal notice (keep the vehicle owner's section for your records).
photocopy of your vehicle insurance card, and
registration fee plus $1 mail-in fee

Send the above items plus fees (check or money order) to:
