THE INFORMATION YOU WILL NEED TO COMPLETE AN ONLINE CREDIT CARD PAYMENT IS AS FOLLOWS:

     

  1. The PID # of the check writer. 

    The PID# is printed on the notice generated to the check writer at the time that a check is received by this agency.

  2. The first and last name of the check writer as it was written

  3. The Payment Code for Hot Checks is 5220

Credit Cards Accepted:    DISCOVER     VISA     MASTERCARD     AMERICAN EXPRESS

Partial Payments, as with any payment received by this office, will be applied at the discretion of the worthless check Division in regards to checks pending with this agency.  Payments in full or partial payments do not hinder this office from criminal prosecution as defined by the Texas Penal Code.  To check the status of a criminal prosecution in regards to a hot check you may contact the Check Division at 903.590.2940 or visit the 'Judicial Records' link on the left hand side of the Smith County home page for cases that have already been filed or indicted into the appropriate court of jurisdiction.
