Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Smith County Volunteer Program to strive for excellence by providing a method by which County citizens can contribute service to the community through volunteering their time and efforts to different departments throughout Smith County.

"Volunteering is the ultimate exercise in democracy. You vote in elections once a year, but when you volunteer, you vote every day about the kind of community you want to live in." - author unknown
