Terms and Conditions:

  1. No person is excused from jury service upon the submission of this Response Form. You must receive an email from the court indicating that you are excused from appearing.
  2. Using this service less than 48 hours prior to your appearance date may not allow adequate time for court personnel to contact you. This especially applies if your appearance date is on a Monday and you use this service on Friday. If you do not receive notification that you have been excused, you must appear as ordered and present your excuse in person.
  3. All excuses are subject to verification. Supporting documentation (school id, travel itineraries, doctor's notes) should be faxed to (903) 590-1661. Please include your name on any information submitted.
  4. Make certain that you are excused from jury service before you decide not to show. Ignoring a jury summons is punishable by contempt of court which includes a $100 fine.
